Hi everyone - this post was authored by Frank Facchiano of The Chamber.
I've been in and out of the Sands Casino Bethlehem a few times since it opened. For an event or a meeting or for dinner. The last time was on Tuesday for a grand opening event that was just a really spectacular party.
What struck me on that night is that there were hundreds and hundreds of folks just like me who had come and gone, soaked in the excitement, did some networking, had something to eat (and drink), maybe listened to the band for a while, without playing the slot machines.
It's just a really cool gathering place!
I know there is a dark side to gaming! It's gotten plenty of publicity and attention for sure.
I'm just saying that the positives of having a place like the Sands outweigh any negatives by a ton.
