What businesses are needed in Alburtis, Coopersburg, Hellertown & Macungie

As part of the Borough Business Revitalization Program, we did a Zip Code Survey in Alburtis, Coopersburg, Hellertown and Macungie. Basically, we tallied the zip codes for customers in participating stores and fed that information into a national database to determine what the trade area of these four communities are. In other words, who are their customers? From there, we were able to get a great deal of information, including information on likely customers for these communities and what businesses could potentially succeed there.

The information on what businesses could financially succeed was perhaps the most interesting. This information was derived by determining what the demand for each community is in a specific business segment, what the sales were of each community in that segment and how big of an opportunity there was. I thought the results were worth sharing:

Alburtis:
