Daily Briefing, 8/31/2009

Good morning everyone! Here is today's Daily Briefing.

The Morning Call runs an interesting story on how the recession is giving municipalities a chance to plan and control the suburban sprawl that has become such a staple of life in the Valley. And, good news for those of you in the Saucon Valley School District: despite still not having a contract, the teachers in the district will not go on strike.

Business Matters airs today - the topic is a one-on-one interview with Congressman and Senate candidate Joe Sestak. For more information, check out the Business Matters blog.

We have one Chamber event today: a meeting of the GLV team 100.

And that's it! Have a great Monday!
