Hi everyone -
Some good economic news to share - actually, quite a bit of good news to share.
First, a recent report indicates that U.S. real estate/office prices rose for the first time in two years. Incidentally, I found this report by way of a LinkedIn group, the Economic Development Council of the Lehigh Valley. It's been very helpful in providing me with some really valuable information.
Second, a report on CNNMoney indicates that a slew of good economic news is bolstering the stock market. Among the highlights of the good news:
- The Dow, S&P and Nasdaq are all at 2009 high points.
- The Chief of the Federal Reserve, Ben Bernanke, has said the the economy is nearly at a recovery.
- Existing home sales are at their highest points in two years.
We aren't there yet, but maybe, just maybe, the economy really is starting to turn around.
