Five Rules for Better Web-writing

We caught this article in Mashable the other day and thought it would be really useful, especially for those of us who use the internet for writing on a regular basis.

To briefly summarize, the article encourages web designers (and, we assume by extension, bloggers) to ensure that their writings are at the same quality that print materials are. To that end, web designers and bloggers must ensure that they use appropriate style and formatting techniques. Those five techniques are:

1) Know your objective
2) Know your audience
3) Keep it short (this one really critical)
4) Make it scannable
5) Embrace constraints

Check out the article - it really is well worth the read, especially for the business community.
