Daily Briefing, 2/28/2011

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

Be careful today; thunderstorms and bad weather is expected, putting Lehigh County under a flood watch.

In national news, here we go again: gas prices rose $.17 in one week, largely as a result of ongoing turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa.  CNNMoney.com reviews what will actually happen if Congress and the President fail to reach a budget agreement and the federal government shuts down.  A new survey of economists shows that their biggest short-term worry is the federal deficit.  And there is no movement in Wisconsin, as both sides refuse to budge in the state's ongoing budget crisis.

That's it for now!  Have a great day, and we will be back later.
