Good morning everyone! Here is today's Daily Briefing.
The Express Times ran a story over the weekend, highlighting the effect that budget cuts will have on local residents. In downtown Allentown, a chunk of the Americus Hotel broke off and landed on a nearby car. Also, as you may have seen in the Express Times, The Chamber is organizing a trip to China.
According to a new poll from Public Policy Polling, Senator Casey has relatively weak approval/disapproval numbers (38-35%) - but leads any potential opponent from 12-23%.
If you are a procrastinator, remember, today is your last chance to file your taxes - the deadline is today!
We have two Chamber events today: the Greater Northern Chamber of Commerce is holding their annual Spirit Awards Banquet later today. We also have a training workshop of emergency response.
Business Matters airs tonight at 8pm on WFMZ-TV. Today's show is Will Pennsylvania see a replay of the Wisconsin protests?
That's it for now! Have a great day, and we'll see you later.
