Lehigh County is seeking to privatize its yard waste collection services. The Chamber and Workforce Investment Board held a workshop yesterday to discuss the importance of job training and needs communications for the unemployed. As reported by the Express-Times, The Chamber is also surveying its members to gauge support on the proposed Allentown hockey arena.
In state-wide news, former Congressman Patrick Murphy (D) declared his candidacy for state Attorney General yesterday.
