Daily Briefing, 9/6/2011

Good morning everyone, and welcome back to work after a long Labor Day weekend.  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

We can expect more wet weather today, so be careful on the roads and watch out for flooding.  In Easton, the city's Redevelopment Authority has taken out a line of credit in an effort to enhance its rehab efforts.  A 9/11 memorial will be unveiled in memory of those who died on Flight 93 in Shanksville.  In national news, a story by the New York Times notes that the post office is in severe financial trouble, with a possible default and shut down occurring this Winter (baring Congressional action) and no easy fix.

That's it for today - have a good one, and we'll be back later.
