Pigs Fly!!

As you have likely heard, our own Iron Pigs have made it to the Governors' Cup, the AAA championship game.  This is a very big deal!

The Pigs will be playing the Columbus Clippers in a best-of-five game series.  The series itself opens tonight in Columbus, but Game Three will be played in the Valley this Thursday, with Games Four and Give also in Allentown (to be played Friday and Saturday, if necessary).

As a result of the series, there are a few things happening in the Valley that local residents & businesses can take part of.  First, Thursday has officially been proclaimed as "Iron Pigs Day" in Lehigh County, and tickets are available for all three games.

Also, this Thursday - wear red in support of the Pigs!

Now, here's the specific opportunity for businesses.  Businesses are being asked to display any IronPigs message such as Go ‘Pigs or Bring Home the Bacon on their marquee, in front of your business, etc. If you do, send a picture to hogwild@ironpigsbaseball.com.  Don’t have a marquee?  Decorate your business in red to support the IronPigs!

Better yet: each entry will receive 2 tickets to Thursday night’s playoff game versus Columbus.  One lucky winner will be randomly selected from the entries to win a Dugout Suite for Thursday night’s game (30 tickets with an all-you-can-eat buffet valued at $1200!).

Check out the flier below for more info, and let's all root for Pigs to fly!!
