Daily Briefing, 11/28/2011

Good morning everyone, and welcome back to work!  We hope you had a great Thanksgiving vacation.  Anyway, here is today's Daily Briefing.

An Express Time story takes a look at the additional funding cuts facing local libraries.  A Morning Call story takes a look at the declining funding available to the Ben Franklin Technology Partners' business incubator.  Proposed legislation would make it easier for public utilities to raise prices.

In national news, today is Cyber Monday, the biggest online sales day of the year, and record sales are expected.  Fortunately, Black Friday was a huge success, breaking new spending records.  The New Hampshire Union-Leader endorsed Newt Gingrich for President this weekend, a major prize in the Presidential race.

Business Matters airs today at 8pm on WFMZ, featuring a debate on whether or not Gay-Straight Alliances should be allowed in schools.

That's it for now!  Have a great day, and we'll be back later.
