Daily Briefing, 11/3/11

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

In Allentown, the Mayor introduced the city's budget that hikes water, sewer & garbage fees, but leaves taxes flat.  At a meeting with local business & community leaders, Senator Toomey was urged to not cut funding for Head Start.

In national news, New Hampshire has set its primary for January 10, thus setting the first five primaries and caucuses in the nation.  A third worker has come forward and said that Herman Cain sexually harassed her while Cain was in charge of the National Restaurant Association in the 90s.

We have one Chamber event today: a grand opening at Servpro on the East Side of Allentown.

And that's it for now!  Have a great day, and we'll see you later!
