Daily Briefing, 11/4/2011

Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

In power-related issues, 6,100 people remain without power in the Valley as a result of last weeks storm.  The Morning Call reviews the upcoming elections for Supervisor in Williams Township.  At Northampton County Council's last meeting, Gracedale again became a topic of conversation, particularly revolving around the extra money needed to keep the facility going.

New unemployment numbers will be released later today; the current forecast holds that the unemployment rate will remain at 9.1%.  The Federal Reserve lowered its forecast of growth for 2012, now projecting growth will be between 2.5% - 2.9%, instead of 3.3-3.7%.
