Daily Briefing, 11/8/2011

Good morning everyone!  Welcome to this Election Day Daily Briefing!

In Bethlehem, Mayor Callahan says he has not yet decided whether or not to close the Dewberry firehouse.  In Nazareth, Borough Council yesterday approved a budget that holds a 14% tax increase.

In national news, a fourth person has accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment.  Cain will hold a press conference to address the allegations later today.  President Obama's Chief of Staff, Bill Daley, has relinquished some of his day-to-day responsibilities to Pete Rouse, another Obama aide.

We have one Chamber event today, and it's a big one - actually, the biggest one of the year - the Chamber's Annual Meeting.  Make sure to follow all the action live on Twitter at our Twitter account and by using the hashtag #ChamberAM

Also, do not forget that today is election day!!  If you are unsure of where to vote, check out this link.

Have a great day!
