Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

In local news, Musikfest had its last day yesterday.  In Allentown, some property owners are claiming that they were cut out of the NIZ.  PPL's customers came pretty close to setting an all-time record for electricity demand in July.  In the Slate Belt, Washington Township has voted to oppose police regionalization, but say that they'll continue to be involved in the process.

In national news, the U.S. House of Representatives will be filing a contempt motion in court against Attorney General Eric Holder.  The 2012 Olympic Games concluded yesterday.

And that's it for now!  Have a great day, and we'll see you later.
