Good morning everyone!  Here is today's Daily Briefing.

The Morning Call looks at how federal budget sequestration will possibly impact the Lehigh Valley.  In Lehigh County, 4,000 have appealed their property tax assessment.  Lehigh Valley home sales increased again in July, increasing almost 21% compared to the same time last year.  Contracts talk continue in the Saucon Valley School District between teachers and administrators.  The Express-Times has revamped their website, lehighvalleylive.com.

In national news, Todd Akin of Missouri says he is staying in the U.S. Senate race, despite his extremely controversial comments about "legitimate rape."

We have one Chamber event today: the annual "Build Your Pipeline" event that is being run by our Small Business Council.

And that's it for now!  Have a great day, and we'll see you later.
