Totts Gap Arts Institute Unveils 2nd Heritage Mural

Chamber member Totts Gap Arts Institute (TGAI) in collaboration with the BBRP Main Street Program unveiled its 2nd “Heritage Mural” on Saturday.  The “Soda Shop” depicts Bangor High School Graduates as they were in the 1950’s.  Each of the “teens” depicted were present at the dedication and met the young artists who created the painting under the direction of TGAI’s director, Jim Gloria.

The project was funded in part by a Main Streel Lehigh Valley grant. The dedication was an opportunity to introduce the upcoming SBCP Main Street program, an outgrowth of the BBRP.  The SBCP will be hosted through TGAI under the management of Sharon Davis, former BBRP coordinator.
