The Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANta), the public transportation provider for the Lehigh Valley, is seeking to fill the newly created position of Purchasing & Contracts Manager. This position will be responsible for implementing procurement programs that meet the established requirements of LANta, the Federal Transit Administration and the State of PA. The Manager will develop procedures and oversee all contract compliance. A bachelor’s degree in either business, accounting or related field is required. Experience in the procurement process, preparing bid documents and preparing contracts is a must. Other qualifications include advanced software experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
