Welcome to the new Allentown!!

Not a day goes by that someone doesn’t say to me “Wow, I just can’t believe the changes going on in Allentown.”  Interestingly enough, it isn’t only from folks here in Allentown, but from people in the Delaware Valley, New Jersey and as far away as Maryland.  Yes, Allentown is causing quite a stir - and all for the good!

In just the past 60 days some very exciting things have occurred.  The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar located at Two City Center opened its doors with great food, an impressive drink menu, plus live music Wednesday through Friday evenings on the beautiful outdoor patio.

Backing that up was the opening of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Rehabilitation and Fitness Center located at One City Center, 710 Hamilton Street.  This center offers the latest in cardio-vascular equipment along with individual weight lifting stations and traditional free weights.   It two floors devoted to sports rehab and general fitness with something for everyone.  Also included, are clean and well-appointed men’s and women’s locker rooms.

The PPL Center is set to open soon with the first event to be the Eagles in concert on September 12th, followed by Cher September 15th, and Tom Petty on the 16th.  And for the hockey fans, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms will have their first official home game on October 17th.   Great opportunities abound for the businesses in Allentown, as concert goers and sports fans alike will be looking for great food, shopping and other amenities in our wonderful and growing city.

Additionally, the Saylor’s will be opening a new restaurant and lounge at 732 Hamilton Street and the Renaissance Allentown Hotel will be opening this winter.

As you can see, Allentown is refreshed, revitalized and ready for action!

Welcome to the new Allentown...Enjoy!
